Do you have difficulty recruiting to key posts?  Jo Barter will explore how 'growing staff with potential' is a viable alternative solution, utilising apprenticeships and other available staff development tools.  With 25 years experience of supporting recruitment and training for adult social care, Jo will highlight succession planning pathways to key roles; how to get maximum benefit from apprenticeships (including how to avoid the 5% contribution towards training costs); other training tools; and how to identify the right staff.  Jo is Apprenticeship Lead for North East London Health and Care Partnership (ICB) and currently supports care providers to establish fit-for-purpose apprenticeships with quality training providers.
