SquarePeg is a social enterprise led by Dr Karen Watchman working alongside expert advisors with a learning disability. Training and resources on learning disabilities and dementia have been co-developed to share real-life experiences alongside up to date practical information. Profits from training supports the ongoing involvement of people with a learning disability.

SquarePeg courses are designed for professionals in health, social care, social work, allied health, and third sector roles. The aim is to build a sustainable workforce that moves away from ‘reinventing the wheel’ with every dementia diagnosis. Staff are equipped with practical knowledge and confidence to bring about immediate change, which enhances the quality of life and support for individuals with a learning disability.
