Following the launch of the conference programme earlier this month, we’d like to highlight just a selection of the many amazing speakers who will be joining us at Care Show London this April.

Isaac Samuels OBE
Co-Chair, National Co-Production Advisory Group & Think Local Act Personal
Isaac is a Co-Chair of the Working Group of the APPG on Adult Social Care and is a committed community-minded individual working within the third sector for many years and working closely with local government and national charities, the Department of Health and Social Care and TLAP. His primary focus is supporting a systematic approach to improve services for people ensuring that they meet the needs of the population by embedding communities' voices at every level.
Isaac’s achievements include considerable influence and success in terms of reducing the barriers that people who have impairments, and other seldom heard groups, face, by ensuring that these barriers are explored in an open, honest, reflective way that supports people to retell their narratives in a way that makes them stronger. Sharing his own personal narrative and drawing on the narratives of others to support this life mission of ensuring that everyone has the same opportunities regardless of impairment, age and socio-economic backgrounds. Supporting a number of important social changes over the years from LGBT+ rights to choice and control and co-production. He is currently involved in numerous projects including research, lecturing, charity work, trusteeship, management and steering group leadership roles with a number of organisations. All of this is achievable for Isaac as he receives support from a personal assistant through a direct payment, Isaac is passionate about self- directing his own support and the role that PAs/ social care play in his life.
Dr Olivia Curno
Chief Executive, Elizabeth Finn Homes
Olivia joined Elizabeth Finn Homes in early 2023, bringing extensive senior leadership experience from across the charity and non-profit sector. She was previously Chief Executive of Vision Foundation, an award-winning organisation working to prevent sight
loss and to promote the inclusion, independence and empowerment of blind and partially sighted people.
Before this, Olivia led fundraising and communications at children’s mental health charity Place2Be and autism research charity Autistica. Earlier in her career, she was a researcher and lecturer in evolutionary biology.
Alongside her executive role, Olivia is a Board Member of Care England, the leading representative body for adult social care providers in England. She also serves as a trustee of the Helen Bamber Foundation, which supports survivors of trafficking and torture through specialist counselling, housing, medical and legal services.
Olivia was previously a trustee of Turn2us, Elizabeth Finn Homes’ parent charity, and remains deeply committed to tackling financial insecurity in the UK and strengthening the connection between Elizabeth Finn Homes’ care mission and Turn2us’ wider social impact.
Kevin Humphrys
CEO, Oakland Care Group
Kevin Humphrys is CEO of Oakland Care Group, a family-owned provider running two care homes in West Sussex. He has spent the past few years focused on practical AI adoption in social care – developing governance frameworks, training teams to use AI tools responsibly, and ensuring technology genuinely supports frontline staff rather than adding to their burden. Oakland Care Group uses AI for care planning, risk assessments, and administrative tasks within a GDPR-compliant environment, and is co-developing new management tools with its AI partner.
Kevin is a Director of West Sussex Partners in Care and speaks regularly at national sector events. He was Highly Commended for Outstanding Contribution to Social Care in the South East Region Great British Care Awards and has been a finalist in the Social Care Top 30 Leadership Awards in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
Emma Jane Tinkler
Programme Manager, HC-One
Emma Jane has over 15 years of programme / project management experience and has worked in HC-one for 5 years. EJ created and developed the HC-one workforce management team as well as establishing their Flex Force (internal agency). Over the past 2.5 years, EJ has implemented Deputy across HC-one’s 328 homes, with 21,000 colleagues utilising its benefits. The implementation took place during the pandemic
which lead to new challenges which were overcome to ensure a successful implementation.
Emma Jane is a keen runner and recently completed her 6th Great North run, having completed her first run in 1986.
Daniel Casson
Managing Director, Casson Consulting
Daniel is a leading consultant in digital transformation within the social care community, with a strong focus on integrating technology to enhance care delivery and efficiency. As Managing Director of Casson Consulting London Ltd, he advises care providers, government and tech providers on embedding digital innovation into their operations.
He played a role in shaping the Digital Social Care Records (DSCRs) implementation program across England. His expertise extends to data security, care tech evaluation, digital strategy and thought leadership, ensuring that technology adoption in social care is both effective and sustainable.
He has authored reports, including "Cultivating the Seeds of Change in Adult Social Care" for NHS Digital, and co-chaired Public Policy Projects’ (PPP) report on the Future of Care alongside ex-deputy Prime Minister Rt. Hon Damian Green MP. He set up and led Care England’s (the leading UK care body) Digital Special Interest Group, which has gone on to drive sector-wide digital transformation.
Ilona Tomza
Development Chef, Porthaven Care Homes
Ilona was recently awarded the title of NACC (National Association of Care Catering) Chef of the Year 2025, after winning the organisation’s competition last year. She now works as Development Chef at Porthaven Care Homes. Having been a chef for over 21 years, Ilona has worked as Head Chef with Porthaven for 11 of those and hopes to cook forever. She specialises in food for people with dementia, and the psychology behind eating and flavour layering for elderly palettes. Her special skills include finding new ways for doing old things, and elevating texture-modified diets to restaurant standards. Ilona’s favourite cuisine to cook is modern British with an Eastern European twist.
Volt Sacco
CEO of Fosse Healthcare, and Chair of the Derby, Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Care Associations Volt Sacco is a technologist by background, holding a Master’s in Programme and Portfolio Management from the University of Manchester. His career spans multiple sectors including banking, engineering, defence, telecoms, and healthcare, where he held senior leadership roles focused on strategic change and enterprise-wide transformation.
Since joining Fosse Healthcare as CEO eight years ago, Volt has led the organisation through significant growth and reinvention. Under his leadership, Fosse evolved from a traditional staffing agency into a fully digital, service-led provider supporting complex children’s services, younger adults, and older adults. His leadership is grounded in the belief that people are an organisation’s greatest asset, with a strong focus on coaching, relationship-building, and workforce development.
Alongside his role at Fosse, Volt serves as Chair of both the Derby Care Association and the Nottingham & Nottinghamshire Care Association, collectively representing over 600 independent and charitable care providers. He also sits on the Nottingham Integrated Care Partnership, contributing to the strategic development of integrated health and social care across the region. Recognised for his integrity, approachability, and drive, Volt brings agility and purpose to every role he undertakes.
Guiseppe Di Martino
Strategic Commissioner for Learning Disability and Autism, Slough Borough Council
Giuseppe Di Martino brings a wealth of experience to the field of learning disability care, having held various positions at Look Ahead. With a background as a psychologist, Giuseppe combines a scientific approach with deep compassion in his work. He is currently the Strategic Commissioner for Learning Disability and Autism at Slough Borough Council, where he continues to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals with learning disabilities and autism.
Samantha Crawley
CEO of EQ Care Group and Director of Leadership & Wellbeing at The Outstanding Society
Samantha is a positive, proactive, and dynamic professional. She has a highly successful background spanning over 20 years in sales, marketing, operational delivery and business development within the care home sector. A Master NLP Practitioner,
Hypnotherapy and Business Coach, Samantha loves to share information and mentor future leaders.
Having held senior positions in the sector’s larger providers, such as Barchester Healthcare, Anchor Trust, Sanctuary Group and Excelcare, Samantha has the ideal experience to develop the Bracebridge Care portfolio - and the knowledge required to ensure its success.
Samantha is a non-exec Director of The Outstanding Society; Samantha was awarded The Social Care Leadership award in 2023 and, in 2024, was awarded the Leading Women in Care Award – Businesswoman of the Year (Care Homes). Samantha was awarded the Chief Nurse Social Care Award in December 2022 for people who go above and beyond their roles.
