There’s a vibe, or harmonic that seems to come into play with an Awards audience, pleased with themselves, pleased to see their colleagues and pleased to meet new contacts. That’s how it was with the Home Care Awards 2026 at the National Conference Centre, Solihull. Those attending were proud to be in the room and be recognised. The chat level spoke volumes about the enthusiasm with which everyone anticipated the Awards presentation after lunch.

But first, there was a welcome reception, with drinks and appetisers. That’s where the buzz started, setting up the vibe or harmonic in the room. Music trio, The Swing Zippers, played live, both in Reception and after lunch.

Lunch followed, both superbly cooked and immaculately presented. It’s not often the word “delightful” is used, but with the carefully chosen menu it was exactly what the NCC catering team managed to achieve, with effortless ease.

Finally, the crescendo of the Awards presentation. Exciting entries, frequent and new entrants, fascinating stories that caught the imagination of the panel of judges.

The vibe or harmonic from this year’s event will gradually fade, but the HCA team will be ready to strike the right chord to persuade you to enter the 2027 Awards.
