“Care Show 2023 was an excellent opportunity to meet up with both existing and prospective customers, discussing their current challenges and how Opera can help ease the burden and deliver exceptional care across the industry.
At Opera, we understand how important it is to collaborate with our customers to understand their priorities and tailor our products and services to bring their aspirations to reality. Bespoke design tailored to their theme, innovative products such as our Solo floor bed and our pressure care advisory and training services are all examples of how Opera supports care providers across the UK”.

Our stand represented the key areas in which Opera help care providers in delivering exceptional care:
Tailored to Your Scheme
Creating inviting, homely spaces for your residents positively impacts their well-being and can create a sense of familiarity. Our collection of nursing beds has a variety of customisations. From sizing and headboards to wood finishes and fabrics, you can specify profiling beds to suit your interior design scheme and cater to varying resident care needs.

The ‘All-in-One Care Bed”
Our Solo floor bed took centre stage at our Opera stand, with its fully upholstered headboard and surround. The Solo bed is an ideal choice, delivering outstanding care in a discreet and homely design. The extensive height range of the Solo ranges from floor level (11cm) up to waist level – ideal for assisting carers when delivering on-bed nursing.
Meanwhile, the ultra-low floor height makes the Solo suitable for vulnerable residents who are at risk of bed falls, including those with Dementia and other cognitive conditions.
Pressure Care Training and Advisory
Along with our extensive range of pressure care equipment, we provide dedicated training in collaboration with Tissue Viability Experts:
Joy Tickle, Independent Tissue Visibility Nurse Consultant
Alison Schofield, Independent Tissue Viability Nurse Specialist
Earlier this month, Alison delivered a Tissue viability educational day to a care home group including nurses, care staff, non-clinical and management team. The day focused on skin integrity prevention and management - what does good look like?
“We’ve received such positive feedback from the team members who attended this session. Thank you, Alison Schofield, for coming to our home and inspiring us to always be proactive and vigilant when caring for our residents”.
“Great informed conversations amongst our teams prompted by your expert knowledge and enthusiasm for our sector.”
