Level 6 Diploma in Positive Behaviour Support

PBS UK & PBS Matters Stand: G78
The Level 6 Diploma is our flagship programme for aspiring and practising PBS leaders. Equivalent to the final year of an undergraduate degree, it equips you to work at a senior level — designing, leading, and evaluating PBS across complex services.

Over 18 months, you'll explore: • Functional assessment and values-led intervention • Person-centred and trauma-informed approaches • Mental capacity, human rights, and ethical practice • Leading organisational and cultural change • Coaching, supervision, and workforce development • Reducing restrictive practice at scale • Research methods and evidence-based practice

Structure: Monthly live teaching days, small-group tutorials, e-learning modules, and a substantial portfolio of work-based evidence. Tutor-supported throughout.

Ideal for: Trainee PBS practitioners, team leads, service managers, positive behaviour coaches, and senior practitioners aspiring to BCBA-style roles within a UK framework.

Outcomes: Graduates leave equipped to lead PBS strategy, mentor staff, and demonstrably reduce restrictive practice in their service.
