Charles Cross is the Co-Founder of Emma AI, the first UK generative AI platform built specifically for Social Care - designed to transform how organisations capture, understand, and act on the language that underpins care. Emma AI has pioneered a number of industry-firsts, including the first image generation solution tailored to social care workflows and the first UK evaluation framework for AI-generated outputs in a regulated care environment. Before founding Emma AI, Charles built and led multiple care organisations, successfully turning around an Inadequate-rated service to Good while driving significant operational transformation. He has also worked closely with system partners to support large-scale hospital discharges, giving him a deep, practical understanding of the pressures facing frontline care. Charles is a recognised voice on the future of care delivery, regularly speaking at national conferences on how AI can be applied safely, effectively, and meaningfully in regulated environments. His work focuses on shifting care organisations from administrative burden back to practice, ensuring that technology enhances the human elements of care. At the Care Show, Charles will explore how AI is enabling a fundamental shift from administrator back to practitioner and what this means for the future of care delivery.
