Dominic Headley is Director of Dominic Headley & Associates (DHA), a specialist consultancy practice that supports organisations with safe and inclusive recruitment and dealing with safeguarding-related conduct concerns effectively. Dominic is the UK’s foremost expert on criminal records and a trusted expert adviser to the government on criminal record policy. He worked with Skills for Care to develop Safe and Fair Recruitment: a guide to carrying out pre-employment checks in social care. He also worked with Skills for Care, Disclosure and Barring Service, Reed Screening, Better Hiring Institute and VBA Consulting to develop the Sharing Effective References and Conduct Information toolkit.
