I’ve had a number of roles in the field of Dementia Care over the last 17 years, including Dementia Education Development for Dementia Voice (then the Dementia Services Development Centre for the West of England), Service Manager for the Dementia Care Trust, Bristol, an Alzheimer’s Approved freelance Dementia Care trainer, Training Development Officer and Advanced Dementia Care Mapper for Bristol City Council, and most recently a Dementia Lead for Bupa Care Services. As an Alzheimer’s Society approved trainer I started delivering training as a freelancer for Bupa in 2007 and when the opportunity arose to work for Bupa in 2013, I jumped at the chance. I’m now the Dementia Lead for the South West and East regions.
