Kevin Humphrys is CEO of Oakland Care Group, a family-owned provider running two care homes in West Sussex. He has spent the past few years focused on practical AI adoption in social care – developing governance frameworks, training teams to use AI tools responsibly, and ensuring technology genuinely supports frontline staff rather than adding to their burden. Oakland Care Group uses AI for care planning, risk assessments, and administrative tasks within a GDPR-compliant environment, and is co-developing new management tools with its AI partner. Kevin is a Director of West Sussex Partners in Care and speaks regularly at national sector events. He was Highly Commended for Outstanding Contribution to Social Care in the South East Region Great British Care Awards and has been a finalist in the Social Care Top 30 Leadership Awards in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
