Thomas Tredinnick is CEO and Co-Founder of Ally Cares, the UK’s leading evidence-based AI resident monitoring system helping care homes create safer, calmer and more sleep-positive environments. With a background in aerospace engineering, Thomas founded Ally after recognising a persistent challenge in care: how to keep residents safe at night without unnecessarily disturbing their rest. Ally’s technology provides care teams with real-time insight into residents’ rooms using acoustic and motion analysis, enabling timely intervention when support is genuinely needed while protecting residents’ sleep and dignity. Thomas has become a leading advocate for recognising sleep as a critical pillar of health in care settings. Through collaboration with Care England, NHS partners and Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), his work has helped demonstrate how improved sleep directly influences outcomes such as falls, recovery and overall wellbeing.
