Valentina Giannelli is an experienced dietitian with a strong passion for enhancing nutrition and wellbeing in older adults. Trained in Dietetics in Siena, Italy, she holds a Master of Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Sydney, along with a Graduate Certificate in Healthcare Leadership and a background in natural medicine. With over a decade of experience in aged care, Valentina has held roles ranging from Clinical Dietitian to Acting Director of Nutrition and Hydration. She has worked closely with organisations to improve nutritional outcomes, always focusing on creating meals that are not only nutritious, but also enjoyable and meaningful. Valentina has also contributed to the sector as a Leadership Committee Member of the Dietitians Australia Rehabilitation and Aged Care Interest Group and is a member of the BDA Older People Specialist Group (OPSG). At White Oaks, Valentina leads innovative and practical approaches to nutrition and hydration, enhancing residents’ quality of life while supporting staff to deliver exceptional care.
